Whichever volunteer activity you choose, your time and efforts are much appreciated and will help us further our services to the families of this community seeking safer, happier, and healthier lives.
Volunteer advocates are essential to the safety and support of our clients. These on-call volunteers provide 24 hour crisis services via cell phones. Advocates must participate in 45 hours of specialized training (offered at least once per year) prior to volunteering.
The WRC welcomes interns from multiple disciplines including but not limited to: Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Child Advocacy Studies, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing and more!

WRC Board of Directors
The WRC Board of Directors is a very active group of volunteers. Board members are expected to be a financially supportive member, attend all board and committee meetings, training sessions, and special meetings related to Board work. Board members are expected to believe and follow the agency’s mission, goals, and objectives, and make decisions on issues, policies, and goals for the agency.
